And heres a picture of it driving away. Yay!
It was a good camper.
Now it’s time to sell the truck and look for a smaller one

28 foot box with queen bed up front and quad bunks in the back. About 7000 lbs loaded.
Went t
o
the camper show this year and they had a 2 story 37 foot bumper pull that weighed in at like 14000 emp
ty.

This is the point where I say we really should have some extra endorsements and training required for that sort of thing. We shouldn’t let people tow like that just because they sort of parallel parked their parents’ car when they were 16.

That’s ludicrous, I’m of the opinion that anything over 12,000 lbs should be fifth wheel only.

Class V hitches can be rated up
to 20,000 lbs. A new F250 is technically rated to tow it...

I was a little off. 12660 lbs

Can it be done? Sure. Doesn’t mean it should be. Fifth wheel places the tongue load directly over the rear axle, providing far better weight distribution and handling dynamics than a bumper hitch, without needing a clumsy weight distribution solution that hampers p
itch and yaw.

At least that's a park model that's not really meant to be towed. That's meant to be pulled to a campground and left there.
